The story
EST. 2023
For much of my life I wanted to have a place to go to share with my family...a place that was pretty and tranquil and had gorgeous views but not too far from the Bay Area.
On occasion I had the opportunity to travel Highway One north of San Francisco...the Sonoma and Mendocino coasts.
A couple of years ago my sons and I looked at the possibility of finding a place near the ocean...where Conrad Junior finds peace and Christopher as well.
We explored the Oregon Coast and then down to California.
This spring, we randomly we came across our little piece of paradise and were able to procure it. There is not much to do—just enjoy the drive through the Anderson Valley vineyards, the Navarro Redwoods and finally, the spectacular Mendocino coast!
You will be relaxed when you get here and more relaxed while you are here.

The condo
Built in 2004
Flanked by a living rainforest and panoramic ocean views 43501 Hillcrest #17 sits just a mile up the hill from legendary CA-1 in Irish Beach (Manchester), CA. The unit is a part of 3 other connected townhomes (with 2 more down slightly down the hill) on 16 acres of never-again-buildable land. You have to see it to believe it.
The condo itself had two bedrooms and a loft, with two full bathrooms. Add a nice Inside Weather couch, and we think the place can comfortably sleep 4 (or 8, if you’re sharing beds!) There’s also a hot tub, 3 decks, a full kitchen, and a grill.
We’re a part of the Irish Beach Improvement Club, which means that anyone staying at the CBB can take a lil’ keycard and enjoy over 6 miles of stunning semi-private North Coast beach access.

BTW, there’s no charge to our friends and family who come visit, but we won’t say no to any $$ you contribute towards utilities during your stay. :)
What is important to us is that you treat 43501 Hillcrest #17 with respect. Leave it cleaner than you found it.
